The month of June was a total blessing for me, energetically, spiritually and physically. After getting electrocuted by an ATM in Thailand in March, I felt I had lost a lot of my “power” – I wasn’t feeling as connected to my guides and guardians, I wasn’t practicing Reiki as much, and was feeling like I really needed some grounding. When the opportunity came up for me to photograph a 200 Hour Ashtanga based teacher training in Ecuador, I was excited for the chance to reconnect with my practice, which had recently been falling off. Little did I know all the aspects of myself I was going to reconnect with – not just my physical yoga practice, but my philosophical and mental yoga practice as well. The tiny surf and yoga town of Montañita was unseasonably cloudy and rainy, providing the time and space to ground. It was also grounding for me to unpack my bag and be in one place for the whole month! The energetic connection to my internal source of healing was reignited and stronger than ever as I was able to offer energy healings and rebirthing breathwork as well as photography services. I am continuously grateful for my passions of yoga, photography and traveling that have come together to bring me opportunities around the world. I am so grateful to be able to document the growth, experience and expansion of international yoga and spiritual practitioners on their journey.
